The deadline is hard: Two weeks after moving in (§ 17 BMG). Missing it risks a fine of up to €1,000 (§ 54 BMG). That is why we dispatch on the same working day instead of using the post.

Is this legal? Are you allowed to do this for me?
Yes. Re-registration is a registration duty, not a legal service — the German Legal Services Act does not apply. We act on the basis of your power of attorney, in your name and for your account. We are not an authority and do not present ourselves as one (§ 5 UWG); the decision is always taken by the competent office.
Why direct dispatch and not simply online?
Many offices now offer online re-registration — but that requires an eID-enabled ID card and is far from available everywhere. That is why we send every declaration electronically straight to the competent office. It arrives nationwide and automatically creates proof of delivery with date and time — exactly what matters for meeting the deadline under § 17 BMG.
What happens if an office does not reply?
After ten working days we follow up in writing and document the case. If an office deliberately does not reply, we inform you and hand you the proof of delivery — so the evidence is with you, not with us.
Does my right of withdrawal remain?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you request immediate performance, it expires once the contract has been fully performed (§ 356(5) BGB). If you do not request it, we start only after the 14 days have passed — in that case we may not be able to meet the 2-week deadline under § 17 BMG.
What data do you pass on?
Only what the respective office strictly needs: name, address, move-in date, and date of birth where required. No passing on to advertising partners. The full list is in the privacy policy
How quickly does dispatch happen?
Orders placed before 14:00 go out the same working day, all others the following day. With “Express processing” we guarantee dispatch on the same working day regardless of the time.
What if I entered something incorrectly?
Write to us with your order number. As long as nothing has been sent yet, we correct it free of charge. Afterwards we charge €19 per rework — the amount is stated transparently in § 8 of the terms and conditions.
Can I re-register several employees as a company?
Yes, from €39 per employee plus VAT. Send us an email with the number of moves and we will create a collective order — including one invoice instead of many.
